Stafford H. "Pop" Cassell Hall of Fame
Bob was an expert ball handler on the basketball court and was known as one of the best set-shot artists in the city of Washington. In 1948, he was placed on the Washington Star’s All-District College second squad. He was part of the 1949 Mason-Dixon Conference Team, averaging 10 points per game as the Eagles went 16-8 that year.
Lamon received his bachelor's degree from the College of Arts and Sciences in 1950.Â
