Founded in 1930, the AU Pep Band is the university’s most active instrumental ensemble. The band is comprised of AU students, AU faculty, and AU community members. Instrumentation of the ensemble is like a general marching band with the addition of bass guitar, bass clarinet, and more. Anyone with a positive attitude and the desire to be a part of this group is welcome to come find a home and artistic outlet.

For questions about the AU Pep Band, please email the Director Aidan Dixon at pepband@american.edu.
