Keith Trehy was yet another member of the historic 1985 team to be named to the Cassell Hall of Fame. As a defender and midfielder, Trehy was an All-America Selection in 1985.  He also earned other honors including All-Tournament at the Clemson Invitational and FIU Classic. He was a three-time All South Atlantic Region Team member. 

The 1986 CAA Player of the Year was an All-CAA Team selection all four years at AU and went on to earn a degree in Chemistry.  Following graduation Trehey worked for the Environmental Protection Agency, and also played soccer with the Washington Diplomats, helping the team win the U.S. Open, Amateur and American Soccer League championships.

Trehy received his bachelor's degree from the College of Arts and Sciences in 1987.
