Eustis placed second in the men's 5000 meter run invitational at the Bison Outdoor Classic on Saturday. Eustis’ time of 14:22.54 eclipsed the IC4A qualifying standard, and is also the ninth best time on American’s All-Time Top-Ten list. Eustis was joined in the event by Jeff Brannigan and Craig Brown who finished third and sixth, respectively, posting IC4A qualifying times themselves.

This marks the second time that Eustis has earned the award this season after he was honored on February 8 for his winning performance in the 3000 meter run at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational.

The American University track and field team will return to the track next weekend at the historic Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa. The three-day event is scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 22, and will conclude on Saturday, April 24, at Penn’s Franklin Field.
