WASHINGTON – The Eagles are taking a break from a streak of Pennsylvania races to compete at the ECAC/IC4A Championships in the Bronx. The women will start the day on Friday (Oct. 17) with a 6k race, and the men will follow with an 8k race. This will be the last regular season meet for the Eagles before the Patriot League Championships (Oct. 31) and NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional (Nov. 14) at Lehigh.
Van Cortlandt Park was the site of the 2023 and 2024 NCAA Division I Northeast Regional Championships. The historic course sees significant action every year from college, high school, and open cross country races. Van Cortlandt has more than a century of history hosting major races, including the 1968 and 1969 men's NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships.

At the Paul Short Run (Oct. 3), the men earned a runner-up team finish in the Brown Race. The squad was led by a fourth place individual finish by
Kaden Kluth, who earned a
Patriot League honorable mention for his performance.
Carver Morgan (17th) and
Noah Smith (20th) also finished in the top 25, with
Cooper Michaud following in 33rd.
Emmett Engelhardt stepped up to finish as the Eagles' fifth scorer in 48th place.
The women placed ninth in the Brown Race, their highest team finish in more than a decade.
Shealyn Brochu again led the squad, earning a sixth place finish, a PR, and
Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors.
Emma Colavito followed with an impressive 6k debut to place 27th. The duo of
Lydia Drago and
Zoe Rector finished in 75th and 78th, and
Kara Langbaum rounded out the scoring in 147th.
