WASHINGTON – The American University cross country team is returning to Bethlehem to compete at the NCAA DI Mid-Atlantic Regional on Friday (Nov. 14). The women will start the day with a 6k at noon, followed by the men's 10k at 1 p.m.
Lehigh last hosted the Mid-Atlantic Regional in 2023, and was the site of the Patriot League Cross Country Championships just a couple of weeks ago. This will be the third time the Eagles race on the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course this season.

The Eagles made history at the Patriot League Championships (Oct. 31), with the men's team reaching the podium with a
third place finish for the first time in 13 years. The squad was led by a stellar individual finish from
Kaden Kluth, whose fifth-place finish was the highest placement for an Eagle at the Patriot League Championships since 2013. He earned First Team All-Patriot League honors and was named AU's
Eagle of the Week on Nov. 3. The men go into the meet ranked 10th in the Mid-Atlantic Region, and have been ranked in the top 15 for the entirety of the 2025 season.
Shealyn Brochu continued her extraordinary freshman campaign with a 14th-place performance, leading the women's team to a seventh-place finish. Brochu earned Second Team All-Patriot League honors and was named Patriot League Rookie of the Year.
