WASHINGTON – The American University outdoor track team is competing at the Kehoe Twilight Meet hosted by the University of Maryland on Friday (May 1). The meet will start at 4:00 p.m., with the men's steeplechase opening up the meet for the Eagles at 4:20 p.m.
KEHOE TWILIGHT MEET INFORMATION
In men's distance and middle distance, senior
Cooper Michaud will open things up for the Eagles in the men's steeplechase at 4:20 p.m. His PR of 9:12.71, set at the George Mason Dalton Ebanks Invitational (Apr. 3), currently ranks seventh in the Patriot League. Sophomores
Barak Goldstein and
Ty Parker will race the 800 meters; both have set PRs in the event this season, and Goldstein is coming off contributing to AU's program record 4x800 relay at the Penn Relays (Apr. 25). Four Eagles — sophomores
Papakojo Danquah and
Zack Zerbe and freshmen
Emmett Engelhardt and Charlie Lovett — will race the 1500 meters. All four have PRed in the 1500 this season, led by Zerbe's PR of 3:50.21. Ending off the evening in the 3k, Michaud will double back from teh steeple, joined by senior
Jack Chandler and sophomores
Jaden Frederick and
Noah Smith. Frederick is coming off a 31:08.00 debut in the 10k at the Virginia Challenge (Apr. 17).
On the women's side, junior
Hannah Puckett will start with the 800 at 5:35 p.m. Six Eagles will toe the line for the 1500: senior

Kara Langbaum, and freshmen
Shealyn Brochu,
Georgina Chalow, and
Charlotte Orr. Brochu's five-second PR of 4:31.55 set at the Virginia Challenge ranks fourth AU all-time and 18th in the Patriot League. Seven will compete in the 3k to close out the evening: seniors
Annie Ripol,
Hannah Schwab, and
Skyler Tatum; junior
Estella Miller; sophomores
Fiona Murphy and
Zoe Rector; and freshman
Emma Colavito. At the Virginia Challenge, Ripol ran a fifth all-time mark of 37:00.78 in her debut of the 10k, and Colavito (17:47.92) and Rector (17:48.18) both ran personal bests in the 5k.
The men's sprints will start the evening with a 4x100 relay at 4:45 p.m. The squad has run two AU top-five times in the event this season. Following that, senior

Emilio Hooper, and freshman
Alex Zenit will race the 400. Junior
Jason Omari-Anim will compete in the 100, and freshman
Gregory Celariste will race the 200. Celariste is coming off a 47.96 400 PR in the Eagles' program record DMR at the Penn Relays.
For the women's sprints, sophomore
Lara Gin will start with the 400 meters at 5:55 p.m.; she lowered her personal best to 56.73 seconds at the Dalton Ebanks Invitational, moving up to second all-time for AU. Program top-two
Tamara Dorval and
Lilia Jones will race the 100. Junior
Adeline DiPaolo and sophomore
Zoe Clark will race the 200.
