BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The American University field hockey team earned 24 spots on the 2023 Patriot League Fall Academic Honor Roll the league office released on Thursday.
To be eligible for an honor roll distinction, a student-athlete must have achieved a 3.20 GPA or better during the fall 2023 semester.
Leading the way for the Eagles was PL Scholar Athlete of the Year
Bryn Underwood and Academic All-Patriot League selection
Tayla-Jade Weiss. Additional highlights for the Eagles were five perfect 4.00 GPAs from
Rebecca Bonness (Jr.),
Ashley Huddleston (Fr.),
Kaleigh Missimer (Jr.),
Delia Rabatin (Jr.), and
Tayla-Jade Weiss (So.). Huddleston, Missimer, Underwood, and Weiss, alongside
Sophie Willemse (Fr.), were all also named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction. This is Underwood's fourth time in as many years being honored and Weiss' third.
Megan Hoffman, a graduate student, earned a spot on the PL Honor Roll all five years while
Charllene Boshoff,
Kendall Jung, and Underwood all earned their fourth honors.
