WASHINGTON - After scoring two goals in two road wins including a double-overtime game-winner, graduate student Agustina Roffo of American University field hockey has been named the Eagle of the Week for the week of Sept. 15-21. American earned a 2-0 win at Boston University, and a 2-1 win at Providence.

In the Eagles' Patriot League opener at BU, Roffo scored the insurance goal for a 2-0 lead that held as the final score. Two days later, a pass from teammate Jordan Reicher as the pair crossed midfield led to Roffo driving into the circle, earning an advantage play, and shooting it across the goal for the game-winner in double-overtime at Providence. Roffo now leads the Eagles with five goals overall in the 2025 season.

The Eagles will finish out September on the road. The squad only has one game next weekend, and will head up north to Hamilton, N.Y. to take on Colgate on Saturday, Sept. 27.
