WASHINGTON – Ten individuals from the American University track team will be competing at the ECAC/IC4A Championships this Saturday and Sunday hosted by George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.

LAST TIME OUT

• Just last weekend, the Eagles squad competed in the Patriot League conference meet.
• Fernando Ibarra set a personal record in the men's 200m dash, coming in at 22.11s and had an impressive 11.05s showing in the men's 100m dash as well.
• Danny O'Neill took to the track last weekend in the men's 3000m steeplechase in which he set an eight second personal record (PR) with his 9:35.50 finish. He also placed himself at number eight overall in the AU record books.
• In the men's 800m final, Kaden Kluth came in fourth, missing out on a podium spot by less than a second.
• Cooper Michaud had an impressive outing. He crossed the line second for the Eagles in the 5000m event, and 19th overall, running a big, 30-second personal best.
• In the men's 1500m run, Oscar Counsell came across third for the Eagles squad and will be joined by Carver Morgan this week in the event, who last time out, ran the 800m run along with Ethan Puc.
• The sole representative from the women's squad this weekend will be Skyler Tatum in the 3000m run. While at the Patriot League Championships, Tatum competed in the longer 5000m race.
