WASHINGTON – Senior Carver Morgan was named Patriot League Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday (Mar. 31) after two strong performances at the Raleigh Relays (Mar. 28). This honor contributes to Morgan's growing list of Patriot League accolades after two gold medal performances at the Patriot League Indoor Championships.

Morgan finished seventh overall in the 800 meters at Raleigh. His time of 1:48.43 ranks first in the Patriot League, sixth in the NCAA East Region, and 12th in NCAA Divison I.

This was two days after the senior also knocked almost 10 seconds off his 1500 PR at Raleigh, running 3:44.05 to rank third in the Patriot League. The time ranks 34th in the NCAA.

Morgan's outdoor 800 PR of 1:47.91 qualified him for last year's NCAA East First Round, where he placed 26th.
