ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The highlight of the day came when Row Sullivan finished third overall, claiming a bronze medal, in the men's 3000m when the American University track team closed out the Patriot League Indoor Championships on Sunday. The team concluded the event with eight total record book changes over the weekend, six new PRs, and four more IC4A/ECAC qualifications.

QUOTES FROM COACH GRAHAM
"Very impressive Championship weekend from the entire squad. Our athletes raced aggressively competing for qualifying, scoring, and podium spots, and we got them all in–not to mention a pile of big PRs.

"Way too many great performances to list, but particularly impressive 3K by Row Sullivan for a bronze medal finish with a perfectly executed race."

NEXT UP
  • The Eagles that qualified throughout the season and at the Patriot League Championships will move on to compete in the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships held March 3-5, Friday through Sunday, in Boston, Mass.
