WASHINGTON – Indoor track will kick off the postseason at the Patriot League indoor Track & Field Championships. The meet will be hosted by Boston University on Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 28-Mar. 1).
The meet will begin at 2:32 p.m. on Saturday with the men's mile prelims. All events ranging from the 60 meters to the mile have semifinal rounds on Saturday and final rounds on Sunday. The 5k and 4x800 relay will take place on Saturday, while the 3k, distance medley relay, and 4x400 relay will take place on Sunday.
The team has set program records in three events so far this season, while establishing AU top-10 times in more than a dozen events. Senior
Kaden Kluth has set records in both the mile and 1k, ranking in the Patriot League top five in the mile, 1k, and 3k. Senior
Carver Morgan, the reigning PL 800 champion, has broken AU's indoor 800 record three times in as many races, standing at third in the league in the 800 and sixth in the mile. Freshman
Shealyn Brochu, coming off a historic cross country season, stands at eighth in the league in the mile after running a six-second indoor PR putting her at third AU all-time.
PATRIOT LEAGUE INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS MEET INFORMATION
On the sprints side, all individual events will have a semifinal on Saturday and a final on Sunday. Junior
Jason Omari-Anim will start off the weekend for AU in the 60 meters. Freshman
Gregory Celariste will race the 400s, and both will double in the 200 semis Saturday evening. In the women's sprints, senior
Chloee Dotts, junior
Ciera Thacker, sophomore
Tamara Dorval, and freshman
Lilia Jones will race the 60; Dorval, Jones, and Thacker are the top three Eagles in history in the event. Sophomores
Zoe Clark and
Lara Gin, who stand at second and third all-time in the 400, will race the 400. Clark, Dotts, and Thacker will double in the 200.
The first distance event on Saturday will be the mile semifinal; senior and program record-holder

Kara Langbaum will compete in the 800. On Sunday, five Eagles — senior

American will compete in all six relay events, with squads in the 4x800 on Saturday and the distance medley and 4x400 on Sunday.
