To be eligible for the Fall Academic Honor Roll a student-athlete must earn a 3.20-grade point average (GPA) in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports, of which AU has six.
The Patriot League Fall Academic Honor Roll is comprised of 590 women across four sports and 600 men recognized in three sports. Football led the way with 296 academic honorees. Women’s soccer finished with 200 academic honor roll members, while women’s cross country placed 164 student-athletes on the honor roll. Student-athletes from men’s soccer (158), men’s cross country (146), field hockey (128) and volleyball (98) also contributed to the 1,190 student-athletes to garner academic recognition.
Bucknell recorded a League-high 176 student-athletes on the fall academic honor roll with Lafayette (140) and Colgate (139) placing second and third, respectively. Holy Cross had 124 student-athletes earn fall academic honors, with Lehigh (121), Boston University (97), American (88), Loyola Maryland (85), Navy (82) and Army West Point (46) rounding out the totals from the Patriot League's full-member institutions. Associate members Fordham (47) and Georgetown (45) also contributed to the League's final tally.
During the fall semester, 138 Patriot League student-athletes recorded 4.0 grade-point averages (GPA), 19 more than the Fall 2021 academic honor roll.
