BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The American University field hockey team earned 17 spots on the 2022 Patriot League Fall Academic Honor Roll the league office released on Monday.
To be eligible for an honor roll distinction, a student-athlete must have achieved a 3.20 GPA or better during the fall 2022 semester.
Leading the way for the Eagles were Academic All-Patriot League selections
Merel Dupont and
Bryn Underwood. Additional highlights for the Eagles were four perfect 4.00 GPAs from
Katelyn Bailey (So.),
Agustina Roffo (Fr.), Underwood (Jr.), and
Tayla-Jade Weiss (So.). Roffo, Underwood, and Weiss, alongside
Kaleigh Missimer, were also all named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction. This was Underwood's third time in as many years being honored and Weiss' second.
Three seniors,
Bella Hite,
Megan Hoffman, and
Ashlyn Campagna earned a spot on the PL Honor Roll all four years.
Charllene Boshoff,
Kendall Jung, and Underwood have all earned their third honors.
