WASHINGTON - By virtue of a 97th minute game-winning goal for the American University men's soccer team, senior Oliver Price has been named the department's GEICO Student-Athlete of the Week.

Price broke a 0-0 tie at Holy Cross late in the first overtime period on Oct. 6 when he headed in a loose ball off a corner kick. The goal gave AU its first win and first Patriot League win of the season. For Price, it was also the first goal of his career.

Men's soccer is back in action on Friday, Oct. 11, hosting Boston University at 2 p.m.
