Murdoch and Linehan Named to Patriot League Academic All-League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Two days after being named to the All-Patriot League Second Team, American University lacrosse seniors Reagan Murdoch and Kellie Linehan have been named to the Patriot League Academic All-League Team for their accomplishments on the field and in the classroom.

Both players have consistently matched their All-Patriot League playing ability with exemplary work in their studies. Linehan, a computer science major, holds a 3.94 cumulative GPA as a member of the Computer Science Honor Society. She's been named to the Dean's List in all seven of her semesters at AU, along with three Patriot League Academic Honor Roll distinctions and a spot on the CSC Academic All-District Team in 2025. On the field, she was American's leader in points with 50.

Murdoch holds a 3.73 cumulative GPA as a Neuroscience major, adding the All-Academic selection to three Patriot League Academic Honor Roll spots over her career. She's made the Dean's List in five of her seven semesters, and pairs her academic achievements with an all-time career on the field. She finished her four years with the fourth-most goals in program history at 128, and led the team in the category with 41 in 2026.

Both student-athletes have been actively involved in their community as well, as they were named Winter Seasonal Volunteer winners for the Under Armour 25x25 Collegiate Initiative. They've also worked with Athletes for Hope throughout their four years, and have frequently volunteered at Shepherd's Table in D.C., helping prepare food for those in need.
