WASHINGTON - Sophomore goalkeeper Brooke Hill of American University lacrosse has been named the Eagle of the Week for AU Athletics, presented by Gregorio's. Hill's career performance helped American dominate in a 14-7 win against Holy Cross in the team's only game of the week.

Hill posted a career-high 15 saves on 22 total shots on frame. She was crucial for American in the first quarter, keeping her team in front with five saves—her busiest quarter of the day. The Crusders scored 20 goals against AU just one season ago, marking a huge turnaround for AU's defense in reversing last year's outcome. Hill was also credited with three ground balls in the victory.

The Eagles will play their final home game of the season against Bucknell on Wednesday, April 15 against Bucknell.
