BETHLEHEM, Pa. –– After a record breaking performance on Saturday in Boston, American women's basketball freshman Charlotte Tuhy has been named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week. This is Tuhy's fourth time being honored this season.
 
Against the Boston Terriers, Tuhy reached a new career-high of 23 points while her 21 rebounds set her up for a program-record setting day. Tuhy's 21 boards against BU, leading all players on the court but also bringing her season total to 309 rebounds. As a result, Tuhy now holds the AU women's basketball program's single-season rebound record, having taken down the record set by Mary Klima of 304 during the 1997-98 season.
 
The game at Case Gym saw Tuhy record her second 20-point, 20-rebound game of the season, leading the Eagles on both ends of the court.
 
The Eagles remain on the road for their final game of the regular season; they'll take on Lehigh Wednesday, Mar. 4. in Bethlehem, Pa.
