COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The American University field hockey team placed 19 student-athletes on the National Field Hockey Coaches Association's (NFHCA) Division I National Academic Squad, the association announced on Wednesday, February 12.
Sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, the NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. Brown, Monmouth, and Villanova led with 22 selections each. American followed closely behind with 20.

Pauline Gineste.
The NFHCA proudly recognizes over 1,100 outstanding undergraduate student-athletes from 82 institutions on the 2025 Division I National Academic Squad.
