Outdoor Track Releases 2025 Meet Schedule

WASHINGTON – After an indoor season full of school records and top-10 times, the track team hopes to build on their momentum in the outdoor season. The team will compete in meets ranging from North Carolina to Pennsylvania before the Patriot League Championships hosted by Holy Cross (May 2-3) and the NCAA East Regional at the University of North Florida (May 28-31).

The Eagles will compete almost every weekend this season. They'll open their season at the Richmond Fred Hardy Invitational on Friday (Mar. 21), where most of the squad will compete. A small group will head south for the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State (Mar. 27-29) to race against top national competition.

The regular season will include two more meets in Virginia. They'll head to neighbor George Mason for the Dalton Ebanks Invitational (Apr. 4-5). After a bye week, they'll return to Virginia for the Virginia Challenge (Apr. 18-19) hosted by the University of Virginia. The Eagles will then bring a group of relay squads to compete at Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Penn. (Apr. 24-26).

The team will shift their focus to the postseason in May, beginning at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships at Holy Cross on Saturday, May 2-Sunday, May 3. The squad will return to George Mason for the  ECAC/IC4A Outdoor Track Championships (May 16-18).

Any athletes whose performances rank in the top 48 in the East Region will close out their season at the NCAA East Preliminary (May 28-31) hosted by the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Fla. to contend for spots at the NCAA Championships.
