WASHINGTON – Seniors
Carver Morgan and
Kaden Kluth are in Lexington, Ky., to compete in the NCAA East First Round hosted by the University of Kentucky. The meet begins on Wednesday (May 27); both athletes will race the first round of their events in the evening.
NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP EAST FIRST ROUND MEET INFO
Kluth will compete first, racing the first round of the 1500 meters at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. His PR of 3:39.43 ranks 17th in the East Region. Kluth will compete in heat four of four. Twenty-four athletes will advance to the quarterfinal on Friday (May 29), where 12 athletes will punch their tickets to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore.
Morgan will compete in the first round of the 800 meters at 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday. His PR of 1:46.85 ranks 26th in the region. He'll compete in heat five of six. Twenty-four athletes will advance to Friday's quarterfinal.
