BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Twenty-seven member of the American University cross country team earned spots on the 2024 fall Patriot League Academic Honor Roll the conference office announced on Wednesday.
 
In order for a student-athlete to be eligible for an honor-roll distinction, the must have achieved a 3.20 GPA or better during the fall 2024 semester.
 
Included among that number for the Eagles was graduate student June Mwaniki, who earned recognition each of her five years with the Eagles. Lucia Ianello earned her fourth recognition in as many years. Additional highlights for AU were three perfect 4.00 GPAs from Estella Miller, Kate Riley, and Kirah Tianga. There were 15 honorees from the Eagles' women's program and 12 from the men's.
