MANAHAWKIN, N.J. – American University field hockey super senior Agustina Roffo has claimed another accolade in her storied four-year career with the squad, having been named as one of the 38 athletes from 33 Division I institutions on the 2025 NFHCA Division I Senior Team, the organization announced on Thursday.  
 
The selected student-athletes were nominated by their NFHCA member coach and were chosen based on their career accomplishments.
 
Named Patriot League Preseason Midfielder of the Year, Agustina Roffo both met and surpassed expectations set for her earlier in the year by earning the League's Midfielder of the Year title after the completion of the regular season. The graduate student winger closed out the year second on the team in goals scored (8) and points (18). In the Patriot League she ended seventh in goals, ninth in points, and 10th in game winning goals (2).
 
Roffo started in 17 games and played in all 18 across the season for the Eagles. She earned PL Midfielder of the Week three times throughout the season and finished her career with a shot on goal percentage of .750. Intangibly, Roffo's speed and agility both on and off the ball was a fundamental part to American's offensive efforts this season.
 
In addition to earning a spot on the 2025 NFHCA Senior team, the Argentinian closed out her career having been named a Patriot League All-Tournament Team selection (2023), a two time member of the First Team All-Patriot League (2024, 2025), and a member of the second Team NFHCA Mid-Atlantic Region (2024).
 
Roffo was also named to the 2025 NFHCA Watchlist at the beginning of the season; the NFHCA Watchlist represents top collegiate student-athletes who are early contenders for this year's NFHCA All-Region and All-American teams. Those honors have yet to be announced.
