WASHINGTON - After totaling six points in a 1-1 week for American University lacrosse, junior Becca Frank has been named the Gregorio's Trattoria Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of March 25-31. The Eagles captured their first Patriot League win on the road at Lafayette before falling to undefeated Holy Cross at home.

Frank scored twice in each game for American, with her goals at Lafayette being the first and last scored by the Eagles. Her first helped AU stop a 3-0 run by the Leopards and set the tone for what became a 12-5 victory. Frank also assisted on two other goals in that contest. Against Holy Cross, Frank scored two more goals while also posting a team-best five draw controls.

American heads up to West Point to take on Army next Saturday, April 6 at noon.
