WASHINGTON - After scoring a career-high six goals in a single game, and eight for the week, senior Hannah Spease of American University lacrosse has been named the Gregorio's Trattoria Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of March 11-17.

Although the team was unable to come away with a win in its two games, falling in close contests against non-conference foes Iona and Siena, Spease had an impressive performance in both games, The Iona contest was particularly notable for Spease, who put in a career-high six goals by scoring on every shot on goal she took in the game. Spease added another two goals in a loss to Siena later in the week. She tallied five draw controls in both games as well as two ground balls in each.

The Eagles will be back in action to host Patriot League foe Colgate at noon on Saturday, March 23.
