Women’s Basketball Welcomes Holy Cross for Senior Day

WASHINGTON – After a week off, American University women's basketball returns to Bender Arena to host league leading Holy Cross in Bender Arena on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 3 p.m.
 
American is set to host its Senior Day celebration with a special pregame ceremony to honor its seven seniors. The contest is also designated as the team's Black History Month Celebration game they are asking all fans to wear black to celebrate unity and solidarity.   • Holy Cross lost its last game at home against Loyola Maryland by a score of 60-47.
  • In that game, Power-Cassidy had a game high 17 points. She leads Holy Cross with 15.2 ppg, the fourth highest in the Patriot League.
  • Sophomore Kaitlyn Flanagan contributed with five assists. She averages 4.6 a game, the most in the Patriot League.
