ANNAPOLIS, Md. - In the first repeat performance in the event in 10 years, senior 
Mimi Watts once again captured gold in the women's 50 freestyle at the Patriot League Championships. Her win in a school-record time of 22.38 highlighted day two of the meet for the Eagles, who had seven additional "B" and "C" finalists.
Notable
	- Watts went 22.55 in the 50 free prelims before shaving time off for her school-record performance of 22.38 in winning the championship final. That time was 0.14 faster than her school-record and winning time from a year ago. It was the first medal of the week for Watts, the seventh of her career, and her fourth gold.
- The last swimmer to repeat a win in the women's 50 free was Molly Mucciarone from Army in both 2013 and 2014.
- In the women's 400 medley relay, junior Amaya Tomma, sophomore Grace Netz, Watts and freshman Lian Jeong Engle went 3:44.81 to take fifth place and post the second-fastest time in program history.
- Jeong Engle finished 11th in the 50 free prelims in a personal-best of 23.52 moving her up to fourth all-time at AU. She advanced to the B final where she finished 14th overall in 23.57.
- Sophomore Dylan Moulton was 23rd in the 50 free prelims in 23.95 moving her up to ninth all-time at AU. In the C final, Moulton shaved it down to a PR of 23.89 that ranks eighth all-time in program history, and she placed 22nd overall.
- Seniors Nick Buckley and Caleb Farris finished in a three-way tie for 18th in the men's 50 free prelims at 20.71 to advance to the C final, where they placed 22nd and 24th overall, respectively.
- Barely missing out on the men's 50 free C final was junior Aidan Delehanty, who posted a lifetime-best 20.96 to improve on his own 10th-place PR at AU. 
- Freshman Connor Florence moved up to 13th all-time at AU with a season-best time of 21.03 in the 50 free prelims, while sophomore Colin Clough is now 14th all-time at AU after posting a lifetime-best of 21.07.
- Junior Laura Laux went 24.51 in the women's 50 free prelims which ranked as a lifetime best for her.
- Senior Joe Melin finished in a lifetime best time of 4:35.37 in the 500 free prelims to advance to the C final and improve upon his own 16th-best time at AU. Junior Seamus Brown went 4:37.57 to also advance to the 500 free C final. 
- Brown and Melin placed 20th and 21st overall in the finals, with Brown going a season-best 4:35.72 and Melin finishing in 4:35.93. 
- The top finisher in the women's 500 free prelims was freshman Kate Williams with a lifetime best of 5:03.03, moving her up to 10th all-time at AU.
- Sophomore Isabel McGovern went 2:06.87 to place 20th in the prelims of the women's 200 IM and advance to the C final. She finished her day going 2:07.23 to take 21st overall.
- With a score of 226.35 on the 1-meter, junior diver Griffin Batt missed out on the consolation final by just one spot in finishing 17th in the prelims.
