Swimmers Advance to Five Finals at ECAC Championships

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Three swimmers advanced to a total of five finals for American University swimming & diving at the 2026 ECAC Championships, hosted by Bucknell. The Eagles sent five swimmers to the event—four on the women's side and one on the men's.

Notable Results

Freshmen Ana Senn and Madison Stover each advanced to B finals in two different events, while sophomore Hailey Rees advanced to one B final.
Stover advanced in both the women's 100 fly and 200 fly. Her prelim time of 2:12.11 earned her 12th place in the 200 fly prelim, and she finished 13th in the finals.
In the 100 fly, Stover placed 16th in both the prelim and final.
Senn placed 14th in the final of the women's 100 backstroke, moving up two spots from her prelim time with a finals time of 58.31.
In the 200 back, Senn was 15th in the prelim (2:07.08) and placed 16th in the final.
Rees placed 16th in both the 500 free prelim and final, going 5:10.60 in her morning swim.
Freshman Maia Alston posted a PR of 2:10.76 in the prelim of the women's 200 backstroke, taking 22nd.
Sophomore Olaoluwadeji Jones swam a PR of 2:14.97 in the prelim of the men's 200 fly, placing 23rd.
Alston, Rees, Senn, and Stover teamed up for a sixth-place finish in the women's 400 free relay in 3:43.10.
