ABOUT THE CLINICS

The goal at American Soccer ID Clinics is to provide a fun and competitive environment for each player to develop their technical skills and to apply those skills to game situations. Campers are exposed to small and full-sided games each day.

We will be capping camp size. We limit our camp numbers to ensure each player is properly evaluated. The camp is designed to attract top-level MLS Next, ECNL, ODP, and high school players interested in playing Division I soccer. (All camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).

American University has annually recruited several players out of these ID camps. With the help of the AU coaching staff and current AU players teaching at all the camps, our staff has created a camp program that is second to none.

ABOUT AU SOCCER

American University is building one of the premier soccer programs in the country. With five consecutive seasons earning a winning record, including three Patriot League Championship game appearances, AU has continued to push for national tournament appearances and conference championships.

In 2021, American advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament after winning the Patriot League Championship. During the 2023 season, American defeated NC State, marking the first time the Eagles beat an ACC opponent since 2015. American had seven players earn spots on Patriot League postseason All-League teams, and two players were named to the All-Region teams. The Eagles advanced to the PL semifinals in 2024, narrowly missing out on advancing after the game went to penalty kicks.
