WASHINGTON - Among what will be a list of many honors at the conclusion of a historic career, lacrosse fifth-year senior Emma Vinall has been named the GEICO Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of April 25-May 1. Vinall led the Eagles to their first appearance in the Patriot League Tournament in nine years.

Over three games last week, Vinall scored 15 goals including tying her career-high with nine goals in the regular-season finale, a 16-12 win at Boston University. She scored five more goals in AU's PL quarterfinal contest at Navy, the final game of her storied career. Vinall also tallied four assists over the three games, along with 16 draw controls. 

Vinall's career ends with a program-record 221 goals, a program-record 259 points and a program-record 292 draw controls.

GEICO Student-Athlete of the Week
