WASHINGTON - After scoring the game-winning goal and three others in a big win for American University lacrosse, fifth-year senior Kendall Goldblum has been named the GEICO Student-Athlete of the Week. 

Goldblum tied her season high with her four goals scored in the Eagles' 12-11 victory over visiting Bucknell on April 16. With 90 seconds remaining, she launched a beautiful shot into the upper corner of the net to secure the win for AU, who had trailed by three at earlier points of the contest.

In American's other game of the week, a loss to #6 Loyola Maryland, Goldblum scored a goal and tallied an assist. She posted three draw controls in each game last week to record six total draws.

American is back on the road on Wednesday with a 5 p.m. start at Navy before returning to Jacobs for its regular-season home finale and senior day celebration on Saturday, April 23, against Colgate.
