2021 Steve Jennings Field Hockey Camp Dates Set

** UPDATED TO INCLUDE THE ADDITION OF THE JUNE 14TH SESSION **

WASHINGTON –
The Steve Jennings Field Hockey Camp is returning in 2021 with five dates in June and July open to rising ninth graders and above.
 
Hosted at Jacobs Complex on American University's main campus in Washington, D.C., the camp is led by one of the most successful coaches in collegiate field hockey, Steve Jennings. Entering his 23rd season at the helm of the AU field hockey program, Jennings has led the Eagles to 11 Patriot League titles and NCAA Tournament appearances and is a nine-time Patriot League Coach of the Year, two-time NFHCA Regional Coach of the Year, and was the NFHCA Division I Coach of the Year in 2004. He was also the U.S. Junior National Team head coach in 2012 and has been on staff with the U.S. Women's National Team in six tournaments, including the 2008 and 2016 Summer Olympic Games.
 
Along with direction from Jennings, camp participants will also work with collegiate coaches and players with both international and Division I experience, and goalkeeper specialists.

June 12th: 9 a.m. – noon (Registration form)
June 13th: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. (Registration form)
June 14th: 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. (Registration form)
July 17th: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (Registration form)
July 18th: Noon – 6 p.m. (Registration form)
 
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
While subject to changing governmental and university guidance, currently all participants are required to wear face covering when not engaged in rigorous athletic activity. Parents/Guests of participants must wear masks on campus at all times and will not be allowed in the playing venue during activities. Participants/Guests are expected to follow social/physical distancing practices whenever reasonably possible while in public spaces on university property.
 
All participants must complete a daily self-screening each day upon arrival to campus. This will occur upon check-in/registration at the beginning of the day, and prior to accessing any campus athletics facility. Additionally, all participants acknowledge, understand, and will adhere to Communicable Diseases Policy | American University, Washington, DC and DC Travel Requirements.
