"I am very excited to have Bailey and Jordyn join our program and complete the 2021 recruiting class. They add depth to our roster and bring a work ethic along with some much-needed size to the perimeter position," Gebbia, now in her eighth year at AU, said. "They are enthusiastic about learning the college game and they have impressed me with their desire to be successful student-athletes. I look forward to their arrival in 2021!"

Head Coach Megan Gebbia on Bailey: Bailey was the first commitment in our 2021 class, and we love that she brings versatility to our roster. She is a 5'11 guard/forward with length, athleticism, and speed at her position. Bailey is an exciting player to watch, has great timing and anticipation on the defensive end, and can rebound and easily lead the break. Her range from three, passing acumen, and quick first step will make it hard for opponents to defend. We feel Bailey will be a player that will impact the game in a variety of ways and we look forward to developing her potential.

Why she chose American: "American University is the best college choice for me for several reasons. AU will allow me to develop my interests in business administration and media studies while also affording me the opportunity to attend the Washington College of Law. What's just as important to me is the ability to fulfill my dream of playing high-level collegiate basketball for a school that has a history of success. In addition to their many accomplishments on the court, coaches Meg, Nikki, and the rest of the staff have made me feel like family since the beginning of the recruiting process. Lastly, I chose American because of its beautiful campus located near scenic Tenleytown in Washington, D.C. I love all the options that are available to me outside the classroom with its shopping, entertainment, and dining."

Head Coach Megan Gebbia on Jordyn: "Jordyn fills a perimeter shooting need in the 2021 class that we had been hopeful to sign. She is a 5'10 wing with length who is a confident shooter off the catch and dribble, and plays with a fearlessness that is enjoyable to watch. She loves to get out in transition and look for opportunities to score, and her accuracy behind the three-point line will put pressure on teams defensively. The combination of Jordyn's scoring mentality and determination on the defensive end will be a seamless transition into our style of play."
