CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Leading the Eagles in a pair of Patriot League games last week, American University senior captain Jessica Wojciechowski was selected as the Corvias Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Attacker of the Week, earning the first PL weekly honor of her career.

Wojciechowski was also tabbed the GEICO AU Student-Athlete of the Week for her performance.

A native of Monkton, Md., Wojciechowski scored a career-high eight points (5g, 3a) to lead American in a narrow 14-13 loss to Holy Cross on Saturday. Her five goals matched a career high, while her three assists set a new personal-best mark. In addition, the eight points matched a single-game scoring record for the Eagles.

Earlier in the week, Wojciechowski led the Eagles with three goals and an assist in a loss to Navy.

Wojciechowski came on strong at the end of the season, scoring hat tricks in six straight contests for the Eagles. She finished the year with a team-best 50 points on 36 goals and 14 assists.
