Five members of the American University track team competed at the 120th Penn Relays over the weekend.

The women's 4x800 relay team of Kelseagh Budris, Corina Velazco, Ali Tyburski and Julia Sullivan finished 14th in the 4x800 College race, setting the fourth fastest time in program history and an ECAC qualifying mark with a time of 9:12.69.

Brendan Johnson set a personal-best time of 14:40.86 en route to a 21st place finish in the men's 5,000 meter Championship race.

The Eagles will return to the track next weekend for the 2014 Patriot League Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.
