The American University wrestling team fell to EIWA opponent Navy, 32-9, on Saturday night in Annapolis, Md.

The match opened at 197 lbs., and the Midshipmen took a 6-0 lead before back-to-back decisions from Blake Herrin and David Terao tied the team score at six. Esteban Gomez-Rivera ended up on the short end of a 7-6 decision to Colton Rasche and Navy held onto the lead for the remainder of the match.

Kevin Tao posted the Eagles' last victory of the night, registering a 7-4 decision over Raymond Boria. American dropped the final four matches of the night, with Phillip Barreiro being edged in a 6-2 decision to Peyton Walsh and the rest of the Midshipmen's victories coming by bonus points.

American will head to West Point, N.Y. for a pair of dual meets tomorrow, Sunday, February 10 against Boston University at 3 p.m. and Army at 5 p.m.
