CLEVELAND, Ohio – Caleb Campos stands as a top-five wrestler in the country at 184 pounds after his fourth place finish at the NCAA Championships on Saturday, tying American University wrestling's highest individual placement since 2016. Campos advanced to the third place match after a victory via medical forfeit in the consolation semifinals, falling to Missouri's Aeoden Sinclair to take fourth place. The Eagles also finished 23rd in the team score, the program's highest finish since 2012.
How it Happened

- After losing to Ferrari on day one in the round of 16, Campos advanced to the highest point of the consolation bracket with five straight wins before being defeated by Sinclair.
- Overall, Campos went 6-2 at the tournament. He finishes his redshirt junior season with a 31-8 record.
