WASHINGTON - After becoming American University wrestling's first All-American in 10 years, redshirt junior Caleb Campos is the Eagle of the Week for AU Athletics, presented by Gregorio's. Campos placed fourth at 184 pounds at the 2026 NCAA Championships, going 6-2 at the tournament.

Campos earned AU's best finish at NCAAs since 2016, and led the Eagles to a 23rd place team finish which ranks as their highest since 2012. With a 9-6 overtime victory over Oklahoma's Brian Soldano in the blood round of day two of the championships, Campos solidified a top-eight finish to earn All-American honors. He was the tournament's No. 10 seed in his weight class but took fourth place, with only the three highest seeds finishing above him.
