The American University lacrosse team will look for its third straight win and sixth in seven games when it travels to Bethlehem, Pa. on Saturday, April 2 for a showdown with Lehigh. The game, which was originally scheduled for 3:00 p.m., has been pushed back an hour and will now be played at 4:00 p.m.

The Eagles (6-4, 2-1) are coming off an 11-8 victory at Columbia on Wednesday. Samantha Marshall notched her second consecutive hat trick and sixth of the season to lead American, while Bernadette Maher and Lisa Schaaf each tacked on two goals apiece. The Eagles held statistical advantages in draw controls (14-7), ground balls (18-15) and caused turnovers (13-8) over the Lions.

American has won five of its last six games dating back to March 5 and has outscored its opponents 81-53 over that span. Marshall leads the team with 22 goals on the year, including a conference-high three gamewinners. Emily Stankiewicz ranks third in the Patriot League with 1.5 caused turnovers per game, while Kimberly Collins' 11 assists are good for eighth in the conference. As a team, American leads the Patriot League with 9.30 caused turnovers per game.

Lehigh (6-4, 2-1) has won three straight, including an 18-9 victory over Lafayette in its last outing. Lauren Dykstra leads the squad with 43 goals and 11 assists, while three other Mountain Hawks have notched 15 goals or more. Goalkeeper Alex Fitzpatrick has an 8.87 goals against average and .485 save percentage for Lehigh.

American is 9-3 all-time against Lehigh and defeated the Mountain Hawks 17-16 last season at Jacobs Field. Stankiewicz scored a career-high four goals to lead the Eagles to victory that day and was complimented by a three-goal performance by Chiara Speziale.
