BETHLEHEM, Pa. –– Kaleigh Missimer of American University field hockey has been named the Patriot League Midfielder of the Week for her contributions across the weekend that saw the Eagles top both Boston University and Georgetown.
 
Missimer was the Eagle that capitalized on the penalty stroke–earned by Jordan Reicher–to bring the Eagles back into the fight against BU and tie it up at 1-all in the 17th minute. She would then score again for a career-high in the 22nd minute to create a 2-1 lead that would hold for 25 minutes of gameplay. AU would eventually go on to win 3-2 in the final minutes of the game.
 
Missimer is now third on the team with six goals, which is also a career high for the graduate student. She was the only Eagle to score twice across the weekend.
