WASHINGTON –– American University cross country returns to action on Friday, Oct. 2 in Bethlehem, Pa. for the 52nd Lehigh Paul Short Run. The men and women will compete in the Open and College Brown Race.

Last Time Out
The Eagles are coming off a successful race at PSU's Spiked Shoe Invitational where the men places fifth and women placed eighth. The women were led by first year
Anna Villavicencio who placed 33rd overall. This standout performance earned her Patriot League Freshmen of the Week Honors.
Noah Smith lead the men's team for the second week in a row, placing 20th.
Since our Last Time Out
The team has been training for three weeks straight without stepping back on the cross country course. Both teams have been working hard, focusing on what will make them better going into the championship portion of the season. They are very excited to take advantage of this big training block at Paul Short.
