WASHINGTON - The final home meet of the year for American University men's and women's swimming and diving saw the Eagles honor 12 seniors, and post victories in 14 of 26 events overall against visiting Mount St. Mary's. The women won nine of 13 events to get a dual meet win, while the men added five first-place finishes.

Notable Results

• On their Senior Day, Isabel McGovern and Peyton Thurman were both double winners for the Eagles. McGovern went 2:10.90 in winning the 200 IM, and 58.56 in winning the 100 fly. Thurman scored 232.60 on her way to victory on the 1-meter, and 196.50 on the 3-meter in her final home meet.
• Junior Kate Williams was another double winner for the women's team in both the 500 free and 1000 free, going 5:08.51 in the 500 and 10:31.09 in the 1000.
• On the men's side, sophomore Luke Martens achieved the same feat. His time of 9:44.25 in the 1000 is a personal best that ranks 15th all-time in program history, and he went 4:43.80 in winning the 500 free.
• Freshman diver Alex Way posted a score of 258.45 to win the men's 3-meter, and 265.90 in winning the men's 1-meter.
• Juniors Lucas Standridge and Campbell Hall went 1-2 in the men's 200 free, with Standridge posting a winning time of 1:46.35.
• Sophomore Grace Gilbert won the women's 50 free in 24.25, and sophomore Marin Priddy won the women's 100 free in 52.94.
• Priddy, Gilbert, freshman Lucy Penna, and senior Dylan Moulton capped off the women's meet with a win in the 200 free relay, posting a time of 1:38.78.
• Overall, the women won 155-85, while the men lost 119-103.
