WASHINGTON - After a three-goal week that helped lead American University field hockey to its fourth and fifth straight wins, junior Jordan Reicher is the Eagle of the Week for AU Athletics. Reicher leads the team in goals this season with seven as the Eagles sit atop the Patriot League standings at 3-0.

In AU's 3-1 win over Lafayette, Reicher scored the third goal for AU with 13:25 remaining in the game, giving the Eagles a 3-0 lead at the time. Two days later, Reicher posted a brace in a 3-0 win over Villanova, scoring in the seventh minute of the game for a 1-0 lead and in the 26th minute for a 2-0 lead.

Reicher's seven goals this season are tied for second in the Patriot League.

For games three and four of five straight at home, field hockey will battle Towson on Wednesday, Oct. 8 and take on VCU on Sunday, Oct. 12.
