WASHINGTON - In their second home dual meet of the season, the American University men's and women's swim teams will host Catholic University on Saturday, Oct. 18, and the Eagles are dedicating this dual as a "Pink Meet" to support breast cancer research. All swimming and diving events will be broadcast live on
YouTube starting at 1 p.m.
Parking on Campus
- As of August 25, parking on campus is being actively monitored seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Parking is available on a per-event basis in any campus garage after 5 p.m., and standard hourly parking is available in two campus garages at any time.
- Event Parking: $10 per contest for events held after 5 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends (available through the PayByPhone app in any garage using code (211950).
- Hourly Parking: Standard hourly garage rates apply from 8 am-10 pm in the Katzen Arts Center and School of International Service garages.

Last Time Against the Cardinals
- When the Eagles traveled across town to Catholic last season, they came away with a pair of team wins after capturing first place in 25 of 26 total events.
- Current Eagles with multiple victories in that dual include seniors Isabel McGovern and Peyton Thurman, juniors Kate Williams and Connor Florence, and sophomore Luke Martens.
- Divers Maggie Fanning and Sean Memon both posted PRs against Catholic last season, with Memon's 1-meter score ranking sixth all-time at AU, and Fanning's 1-meter score ranking 12th all-time. Memon's 3-meter score at that same meet ranks 13th all-time for the men's program.
2025-26 Season Highlights so Far
- The women's team picked up its first dual meet win over UMBC in a close battle that came down to the last relay. Sophomore Marin Priddy set a pool record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.51.
- Both Priddy and sophomore Piper Crosby are currently in the top three in the Patriot League in one event each, with Priddy having the second-fastest time in the 100 breaststroke and Crosby having the third-fastest time in the 100 backstroke (56.88).
- Senior Isabel McGovern has also been a standout for the Eagles, placing first in both the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly against UMBC, and, along with Priddy, Crosby, and sophomore Grace Gilbert, being part of the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays that helped the Eagles beat the Retrievers.
- The men's team has seen several event victories and high-placing results over the first few meets as well. The trio of sophomore Cole Coffman, junior Ryan Tiffany, and senior Madan Morris went 1-2-3 in the 200 fly against UMBC to claim 16 points for the Eagles. Sophomore Luke Martens won the 1000 freestyle against UMBC with a time of 9:47.52 and is currently ninth in the Patriot League in the event.
- At Loyola Maryland, freshman diver Alex Way put up scores that landed him seventh in program history in the 1-meter and 13th all-time in the 3-meter.
- American will be competing in a dual meet at Georgetown on Friday, Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. prior to Saturday's home meet against Catholic.
