BETHLEHEM, Pa. – On Monday, the Patriot League office announced that American University lacrosse junior
Caleigh Forti was awarded Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week for her work against both George Washington and UMBC last week.
Combined, Forti amassed a .624 save percentage, stopping 25 of the 41 shots that were sent her way. The keeper from Towson, Md. was a stone wall between the posts behind a locked in defensive effort. She also managed to pick up 10 ground balls and had two caused turnovers.
Up next, the Eagles squad will be competing at home against George Mason on Thursday, Feb. 29 at 2 pm.
