WASHINGTON - In a 2-0 week for American University field hockey, graduate student Emily Horace scored twice to help the Eagles remain undefeated in the Patriot League. For her efforts, Horace has been named the Gregorio's Trattoria Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of October 21-27.

In American's 3-0 win over Lehigh to improve to 5-0 in conference play, Horace scored the first and third goals for the Eagles. Both of her shots on goal found the back of the cage in her 44 minutes on the field. Horace played another 37 minutes in AU's 2-1 win over Hofstra, taking one shot on goal.

The Eagles' final game of the regular season will be on Saturday, Nov. 2 on the road against Bucknell.
