Seventeen Eagles to be Honored as Swim & Dive Hosts VMI on Saturday for Senior Day

WASHINGTON - The largest senior class in program history will be honored for American University men's and women's swimming & diving as the Eagles host VMI on Saturday, January 13 for Senior Day. Prior to the 11 a.m. meet, AU will recognize 17 seniors on the pool deck starting at 10:30 a.m. The meet will be live-streamed on YouTube, starting with the Senior Day ceremony. The live stream will end between 2:30-2:45 p.m. if the meet has not concluded by that time.

It has been nearly two months since AU's last team competition wrapped up after three days at the George Mason Patriot Invitational in mid-November. In early January, the team traveled to Puerto Rico for a week-long training trip, and returns ready for the second half of the season. The Eagles last faced VMI on Jan. 15, 2022, and posted team wins for both the men and women, including a full 14-event sweep on the women's side.
