WASHINGTON - After scoring points for American University men's track at the 2022 Patriot League Outdoor Track & Field Championships, junior Tucker Zullo has been named the GEICO Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of May 2-8. 

Zullo placed fourth in his heat in the 1500 meter run to advance to the final, and then placed sixth overall with a personal-best time of 3:52.12. That result made him the highest individual finisher for the Eagles at the PL Championships, and he was also part of the top relay finish. Zullo ran the final leg of the 4x800 meter relay that placed fifth in 7:40.53.
