WASHINGTON - Ten shots were put on goal by Lafayette field hockey in the Patriot League opener for American on Saturday, Sept. 18, and sophomore goalkeeper Bryn Underwood stopped all of them. For her efforts, Underwood has been named the GEICO Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 13-20.

The 10 saves for Underwood were a career high and included a clutch dive to save a Lafayette penalty stroke in the third quarter. The Eagles won 1-0 in overtime with Underwood getting her first shutout win of the season and third of her career.
